The Ploieşti-Albiţa Motorway is a planned motorway designed to link the eastern part of Romania and the Republic of Moldova to the Romanian capital city of Bucharest, along the Pan-European corridor no 9. It is planned to be 314 km long and will follow the route: Ploieşti - Buzău - Focşani - Albiţa > Moldova. Initially, the construction will begin only for the sector Ploieşti - Focşani, and only later, the remaining would be built.
